Day 12 - The Kindly Curses
Something I’ve been using for a while, and only recently gave a name to—The Kindly Curse—after a conversation with Jason.
The first time it showed up, I was driving.
Another car sped up — too fast, too close — and cut in front of me like I wasn’t there.
Before I even knew what I was doing, the words left my mouth.
“May everyone else around you get there safely.”
My intention wasn’t a threat. Nor a curse.
The priority was a redirected focus—because while I didn’t want them harmed, I did want everyone else safe from the choices they were making.
It wasn’t about hexing them.
It was about removing them from my field as a priority and shifting my focus to what matters.
Safety.
Calm.
Boundaries without venom.
There’s something powerful these little spells—words spoken in moments, where frustration or rage are the expected response, but clarity is where the words are drawn from.
They let us choose response over reaction, sovereignty over chaos, intention over noise.
So here it is, officially:
Kindly Curse #005 - “May everyone around you get there safely.”
I release this one into your care.
Use it when someone else’s carelessness threatens your space — on the road, in line or in conversation.
It hold your field steady… and releases theirs.
